Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship

The Men's Australian Master of the Amateurs is the highest ranked Category A event in Australia, and is ranked by the R&A as the highest ranked Amateur Championship in Australia. 

The Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs is the highest ranked Category B event in Australia, and is ranked by the R&A as the highest ranked Amateur Championship in Australia. 

The 2019 Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship will be hosted at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club, 8th - 11th January 2019, on the West Course.

The 2018 Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship introduced a women's tournament with 24 of the top elite female National and International Golfers. 

The 2019 Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship will increase the field of the women's tournament to 48 of the top elite female National and International Golfers. 

The 48 elite female golfers will join the 78 National and International elite male amateur golfers, in separate Championships, under the title of the Men's Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship & the Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship. 

Amateurs from around the world went stroke for stroke against each other in the 2018 Australian Master of the Amateurs 72-hole stroke amateur golf championship played at the Internationally recognised Royal Melbourne Golf Club on Melbourne's legendary sand belt, 9th - 12th January 2018.

Congratulations to Shintaro Ban (USA) who holds the Men's East Course Record with a score of 63, Round 4 of the Championship.

Congratulations to Yuka Yasuda in winning the 2018 Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship and the coveted "Green Jacket", with a total score of +3 to Par, 287. Yuka shot a new Women's East Course Record of 65 in Round 3 of the Championship.
Congratulations to David Micheluzzi in winning the 2018 Men's Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship and the coveted "Green Jacket", with a total score of 14 under Par, 270. David shot the equal Men's East Course Record of 65 in Round 2, and a new course record of 64 in Round 3 of the Championship.

Now going into its 22nd successful year, and ranked number one in Australia, the Men's & Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs 72-hole Championships are considered by many of the worlds leading amateur golfers to be the finest Amateur Golf Championships in the world. The 2019 Men's & Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs Championships will be played 8th - 11th January 2019, at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

The 2019 Men's Australian Master of the Amateurs Green Jacket Champion shall receive an exemption into the 2019 Amateur Championship (UK), Porter Cup (USA), The Players Amateur (USA), and The Dogwood Invitational (USA). 

The 2019 Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs Green Jacket Champion shall receive an exemption into the 2019 Women's Western Amateur Championship (USA), the 2019 Women's Porter Cup Championship (USA) and the 2019 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship (USA).
