The 2027 Men’s & Women’s Australian Master of the Amateurs Championships Terms and Conditions will be released later in 2026. It is the players responsibility to read these carefully before entering the Men’s or Women’s Championship. These Terms and Conditions may be varied and altered at any time by the discretion exercised by the Australian Master of the Amateurs International Selection Committee or by the Chairman of Selectors.<\/p>\r\n
The Rules of Golf as published by The R&A and the USGA, subsequent clarifications and any Terms of the Competition (TCs) and Local Rules (LRs) apply to all play at the 2026 Men\u2019s & Women\u2019s Australian Master of the Amateurs Championships.<\/p>\r\n
It is the player\u2019s responsibility to be aware of the Rules of Golf, clarifications, TCs and LRs.<\/p>\r\n
Please Ready golf is encouraged, when it is safe and responsible to do so, throughout the Tournament to improve pace of play. Ready golf enables competitors to play when ready, and it is safe to do so, rather than strictly adhere to “farthest from the hole plays first” requirement.<\/p>\r\n
Time to complete 18 holes is 4 hours 27 minutes. Groups are to maintain their position in the field behind the group in front. Out of position is defined as being more than the starting interval behind the group in front. In the absence of mitigating circumstances, a group is liable to be timed if it is in excess of the time allowed and in the case of subsequent groups, out of position.
